New iCal integration

Eden Vacation Rentals asks all our homeowners to keep our CiiRUS property management platform up to date.

It is vital that we share a central calendar in order to keep double bookings to an absolute minimum.

This shared calendar on CiiRUS can then be used by you, the Eden team and the booking agents we work with.

However, if you are also promoting your own home for yourself on other listing sites, it can be a hassle uploading details to multiple calendars.

That’s why Eden has now invested in a new feature for the CiiRUS application which allows for full iCal integration with the major listing sites.

You simply insert the link into the calendars on the listing sites you use.  Then update your CiiRUS calendar as you would normally.  The calendars on your listing sites will be automatically updated.

This is a new feature for CiiRUS.

We’re hoping it will help us reduce double bookings still further.

For this reason, we’re asking all home owners who use other listings sites like Flipkey, Holiday Lettings, etc to request an iCal link from us.

Once you have the iCal link, insert this in to the listing calendars you use (e.g. FlipKey, Holiday Lettings etc.)  This automatically updates the listing calendar from CiiRUS every ten to fifteen minutes.

You do need to ensure that you continue to keep the CiiRUS calendar updated.  This is because dates can only be exported from Ciirus, not imported.

We’re expecting this to be a huge improvement for our home owners who also do promote their home(s) through other listing sites.
